To give yourself the best chance of success and to draw a nice eyeliner line, you need to get comfortable. It is better to apply your eyeliner while sitting down so that you can rest your elbow on a flat surface and thus avoid shaky hands.
In the same way, you can steady your hand against your face by using your little finger. Finally, place a mirror down low, which will allow you to see exactly where to draw your line without having to pull on your eyelid.
A perfect application
To begin with, when you are a beginner, it is better to apply your eyeliner to a bare eyelid without makeup or oily products. Start from the outside and draw delicately towards the inside. It is better to start thin and thicken it afterwards.
Also, do not pull on your eyelid to avoid distorting the line. However, if necessary, you can pull on the eyebrow. Finally, be very careful to fill in any gaps between the eyeliner line and the base of the eyelashes.
A few tips:
– If you do not have any of the products mentioned above, you can draw an eyeliner line with eyeshadow picked up using a brush that has been moistened with thermal water.
– To draw a perfect wing, you can use tape to help you. To do this, place a piece of adhesive tape so that it connects the corner of the eye to the tail of the eyebrow. Then draw your eyeliner. Once this is done and the eyeliner is dry, remove the tape. Result: a perfect liner line!
– To correct your line, use a cotton swab soaked in thermal water or micellar water. In any case, avoid oily substances.
– Before applying your eyeliner, and regardless of which product you have chosen, always work the product on the back of your hand. This avoids excess product and clumping on the eyelid.
